SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) - As the calendar flips to October, the Briar Cliff Chargers football team is sitting among the upper half of the NAIA landscape with a 4-1 record while receiving votes in the newest NAIA Top 25 poll.

BCU is 3-1 in GPAC play, just a half game back of first place. Qurarterback Brock Saya is responsible for 10 passing touchdowns and over 279 passing yards per game, good for second in the GPAC.

Defensively, BCU ranks in the conference's top three with 7 interceptions, 4 fumble recoveries, and 14 sacks.

The Chargers have been counting on each other and feel they've just scratched the surface.
