LONG BEACH, Miss. (WLOX) - On Wednesday, Long Beach officials held a tour of the town with hopes of drumming up attention from investors.

Mississippi Power and Long Beach Main Street teamed up for a Commercial Development Possibilities Tour to showcase how properties could be transformed into things such as restaurants, retail shops, office spaces and more.

“At the end of the day, what we want to do is showcase the different properties that are available in these cities, bring investors in to have them look at these properties, and see if there’s anything we can do to bring some development to these areas,” explained Mississippi Power Commercial Development Project Manager Tomeka Wiley.
