OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A recently married Omaha couple has a warning about doing your homework before hiring a vendor.

Near 168th and Blondo Streets, after exchanging rings and vows 10 days ago, Sharee and Gerard Christian smiled during their big day pictures, but in one photo, the bride said doesn’t have tears of joy.

“I was crying because the caterer didn’t show up. I was embarrassed. I didn’t know how I was going to feed my guests. I had a lot of guests,” Sharee said.

Sharee has receipts showing she paid Freestyle Flavor’s catering $3,500, but after the ceremony, the reception plates remained empty.

“There’s no food and I’m about ready to go out and it’s show time,” Sharee said.

The groom said his anger is not about the stylish food that was never delivered.
