OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - James F. Lynch Park in Omaha is getting an upgrade right now. More than a year ago , the city decided to make improvements to the skating area and add green spaces.
The process has been plagued with unforeseen challenges and delays.
The thrill of barrelling down a good ramp. It’s something Max and Rhett Haffke are very familiar with.
“We get to do all these fun jumps,” said Rhett.
“Watching the dudes get better, it’s a great feeling,” said Robert Haffke, the boys’ dad.
It’s not just families making use of the improved skating area at James F. Lynch Park.
“Anything with a board is a good outlet, so it kind of lets me decompress,” said Sean Knudsen, who was skateboarding at the park.
