More than 7000 Commonwealth Bank customers disconnected from banking services in a major outage have had their access restored.
Online banking services including the bank's mobile app and some ATMs were taken offline shortly before midday on Thursday.
No branches were closed due to the outage, a Commonwealth Bank spokeswoman said.
"Some of our services were unavailable for approximately an hour before they started being restored," she said in a statement.
"All services are now restored. We apologise and thank customers for their patience."
Shortly before 2pm AEST, the bank was still working to reconnect systems.
