Liquidators have revealed the fate of a 20-year-old firm that entered liquidation after Covid and flooding-related financial difficulties.
Frame Trade UK, which made window frames from Joshua Business Park in Langley Mill near the Nottinghamshire - Derbyshire border, appointed liquidators on Thursday, July 10.
The company ran into difficulties with loss of trade due to the Covid pandemic.
Production disruption was worsened by flooding at its factory in 2023, which caused extensive damage and forced the firm to replace a key piece of machinery.
However, prior to the company's liquidation, the business and its assets were purchased by The Regal Group - saving the majority of its employees' jobs.
