A blanket of patchy fog is set to shroud parts of the country this morning, with the Met Office warning of travel chaos as drivers, commuters and even air passengers face delays and disruption.
The forecaster has issued a yellow weather warning, in place from 7:15am until 10am, with five regions in the firing line. Brits have been warned to check road conditions if driving, leave extra journey time ahead of travel, or change their plans entirely if necessary. It said: "Slower journey times with delays to bus and train services possible. There is a chance of delays or cancellations to flights."
