The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for fog which covers much of Kent this morning (Thursday, October 2). Having come into effect from 7.15am, the warning will remain in place for just under three hours, ending at 10am.
It blankets much of central Kent, encompassing Maidstone , Tonbridge , Tunbridge Wells , Ashford and Sevenoaks . Patchy fog is likely to turn dense in some places, reducing visibility and potentially causing some travel disruption.
As such, slower journey times are likely, while bus and train services may face delays. There is also a chance that flights could see delays or cancellations as a result.
Forecasters have urged drivers to check road conditions before setting off to give them the best chance of avoiding delays. Make sure you know how to
