The Defense Minister addressed the soldiers at a military base in Bhuj, Gujarat, before Shastra Puja on Dussehra.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday addressed India’s position on the longstanding Sir Creek border dispute, saying that even after 78 years of independence, tensions continue to persist in the region due to Pakistan’s actions.

He stated that India has made repeated efforts to resolve the issue through diplomatic talks, but Pakistan’s intentions remain 'unclear and flawed'.

Singh pointed to Pakistan’s recent military build-up in areas adjacent to Sir Creek, interpreting it as a reflection of aggressive intent.

He warned that any mischief or provocation by Pakistan in the region will be met with a "strong response capable of changing both history and geography."
