PAVILION — Being driven around the loop in front of Pavilion Middle-High School in a golf cart as students and staff cheer hasn’t been the norm for Rex Eighmey over his decades with the district.

That’s what he got to experience, though, on Wednesday (aka “Rex Eighmey Day”) and it was more than the director of facilities, buildings and grounds expected.
