Waterloo girls volleyball coach Angie Crawford has never been so grateful to have an artistic parent supporting the program.
“We announce (career player milestones) after the first set,” Crawford said. “And then we do a really awesome poster that one of our parents, Jessa Pauline, she’s so sweet and she's so talented, creates for us. And then we give the girls the game ball, and we all write on it 1,000 whatever (the stat is), and then we all sign it.”
The Bulldogs have kept Pauline busy this season.
Three different Waterloo players have hit career milestones so far on the campaign. Ellie Day got it started by notching her 1,000th career assist in the team’s season opener, and recently Ellie Zweigart and Kenzy Koudelka each hit 1,000 career digs.
Crawford, who is in her 15th season as
