Two people have died after a car ramming and stabbing attack outside a synagogue in Manchester, England, police say.
A man, believed to be the offender, was shot by police and is also believed to be dead.
The incident took place on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
Police said they could not confirm if the suspect was dead "due to safety issues surrounding suspicious items on his person".
A bomb disposal unit has been called and is now at the scene.
