Senior forward Alexandria Worthley’s goal with 5:20 left in the fourth quarter snapped a one-all tie and propelled Pinelands to a 2-1 victory over Manchester Township in Little Egg Harbor.
Manchester led 1-0 on a first-quarter goal by senior forward Marisiya Goins off an assist from sophomore defender Riley Cribbin. Worthington tied the game for Pinelands (3-4-1) when she converted a pass from senior midfielder Ava Gialloreto at 3:56 of the second quarter.
Senior goalie Rebecca Griffiths made eight saves for Pinelands. Sophomore forward Malia Rivera assisted on Worthley’s go-ahead goal.
Senior Bella Martucci stopped nine shots for Manchester (1-8).
