Almost 100,000 Evermore Surprise Eggs have been recalled because the toy inside has an ingredient that will definitely surprise parents.
The eggs come in a yellow, green or pink wrapper. The egg itself is gold and contains one of seven different toys, including an airplane.
The airplane is the problem.
“The toy airplane inside the egg contains levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues,” according to an announcement with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The eggs were sold nationwide at 7-Eleven, Horizon, Speedway and Murphy stores in March and April for about $10.
