Three further men have appeared in court charged with murder following the death of Kevin Bowman in Airdrie.

Euan Hutchison, 25, Kieran Rowlands, 27, and Joseph Travers, 22, appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Thursday. They were each charged with murder, attempted murder, and an attempt to pervert the course of justice.

The trio, all from Airdrie , made no plea. They were remanded in custody while the case was committed for further examination.

Hutchison, Rowlands and Travers will be expected to reappear in court within the next eight days.

Mr Bowman, 30, from Glasgow, died after he was found injured on the North Lanarkshire town's Hamilton Drive during the early hours of September 18.
