Police have issued an update after a terrorist was shot dead after killing two people in a horror attack outside a synagogue.
Sir Stephen Watson, the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police, said four people remain in hospital following the terror attack outside a north Manchester synagogue on Thursday morning (October 2).
He said two members of Manchester's Jewish community died as a result of the incident, which happened on Yom Kippur, the holiest day for the Jewish calendar.

Sir Stephen said the attacker had been fatally shot by officers within seven minutes of the initial call reporting the attack, which has been declared a terror event.
