Fresh cut cantaloupe is being recalled due to ongoing concerns about listeria, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Wholesale Produce Supply of Minneapolis, Minnesota, is recalling fresh cut and processed cantaloupe sold under the Harvest Cuts, and Fresh and Finest brands.

These products were distributed to grocery stores in Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin, and may have reached other states. The recall includes both cantaloupe-only containers and mixed fruit packages containing cantaloupe.

The recall was initiated after routine sampling revealed potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause life-threatening illness. No illnesses have been reported to date.
