DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Runners are more than ready for the 50th annual Grandma’s Marathon race weekend and showed it by selling out entries for all of their events in only 12 hours.
The 50th annual Grandma’s Marathon weekend, scheduled for June 18-20, 2026, expects to bring over 19,000 participants to Duluth.
According to organizers, they were all filled in record-setting time, “smashing” the previous record set last year, when the Full Marathon sold out in a little over a month.
“It’s been a whirlwind kind of day, and we find ourselves this morning feeling especially grateful,” Marketing & Public Relations Director Zach Schneider said. “This goes beyond a lot of our wildest expectations, and it truly sets the stage for what will be an epic celebration of Grandma’s Marathon
