ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - It’s been a tense week for schools across Cenla, with several threats reported and even a deputy-involved shooting earlier this week.
In response to the threats, Pineville City Councilman Pastor Nathan Martin brought the community together on Thursday at noon for a prayer service.
Dozens were gathered at the Rapides Parish School Board building to pray for students, teachers, parents and law enforcement - asking for safety and peace on local campuses.
