A large python that turned up at a Los Angeles County In-N-Out drive-thru this week has reportedly been reunited with its owners more than 40 miles away in San Bernardino County.

Workers at the restaurant in Monrovia discovered the "beautiful" reptile on Monday, Sept. 29, according to Pasadena Humane, where the employees took the snake.

Animal care officials noted the snake appeared to be well taken care of and suspected it was a recently escaped pet.

Lost and found

After reaching out to the public in search for the python's owners, a San Bernardino family recognized the snake from a news broadcast as their pet, named "Henny," who had escaped from their home in August, according to ABC 7 .

But the family said they had no clue how the roving reptile got to Monrovia, more than 40 mile
