A Mobile County judge has scheduled a trial date for an Orange Beach insurance consultant facing felony fraud and theft charges.

In an order filed this week, Circuit Judge Michael Windom canceled a fifth rescheduled disposition hearing for Austin Tanner, which was set to take place on Thursday, Oct. 2, and instead scheduled a jury trial for April 20, 2026. The development will mean Tanner’s prosecution will push into its second year since he was indicted for insurance-related fraud charges in Spring 2024.
