About $45 million in Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act (GOMESA) will be allocated for 23 projects in coastal Alabama.

According to a press release issued by Gov. Kay Ivey on Sept. 30, each of the projects focus on environmental education and outreach, boating access, water quality improvements and recreational access improvements.
