BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank announced its new president and CEO Thursday after a months-long national search.
Elizabeth Pfifer will take on the role starting Nov. 1. According to a release, Pfifer has over 20 years of global leadership experience, having previously served for Catholic Relief Services as a workforce development director.
“Liz’s visionary leadership, deep commitment to community engagement, and proven track record in nonprofit management make her the ideal choice to lead the Food Bank into its next chapter,” said Vance Gibbs, chairperson of the board of directors. “Her values and vision align with our mission to serve families across the Greater Baton Rouge area.”
