Edinburgh has been revealed to have the "most significant rising crime rate" in the country with year-on-year increase in crime severity was found to be almost nine per cent.

On Monday, September 29, CCTV operator training provider Get Licensed, shared a report of the safest and most dangerous cities in Britain. The experts compared crime rates across Scotland, England, and Wales to reveal where rates are rising and falling the most.

According to Get Licensed, Edinburgh is the area of Scotland with the most significant rising crime rate. The capital also placed at number four on the Britain-wide list of the areas where crime rates are increasing the most.
