A West Lothian chippy has hosted a grand reopening and raised cash for charity in the process.
Tony’s Fish Bar, on East Main Street in Whitburn, reopened its doors under new management and had special prices for two days with all of the profits being donated to West Lothian Woman’s Aid.
Customers were able to order from Tony’s special menu, getting their takeaway fix while also raising funds for women affected by domestic abuse, reports The Daily Record.
New owner Florin Dragos Serea said: “Thanks to our incredible customers at Tony’s Whitburn, we raised £1154.50 in support of West Lothian Women’s Aid helping women rebuild their lives.
“This isn’t just a donation, it’s hope, strength, and a reminder that community can change lives.”
