SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Funeral arrangements have now been announced by family for a woman killed in a domestic murder-suicide incident at the Villaggio Apartments in Bossier City.

Manissa Tranell Howard, 44, was shot and killed by her estranged husband, Christopher Hughes, on Sept. 14. Hughes also shot two Bossier police officers during the incident, then turned the gun on himself. He sustained critical injuries, was taken to the hospital, and later died.

Visitation for Howard will be held Friday, Oct. 3 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Precious Memories Mortuary (4017 Greenwood Rd.) in Shreveport.

The service will be held Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. at Bright Star Baptist Church (3330 Meriwether Rd.) in Shreveport.

Howard will be buried at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Shreveport.
