ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4)—St. Charles Community College celebrated the opening of a brand new center on Thursday to help students enter trade fields.

The Regional Workforce Innovation Center is the first building of the school’s Innovation West campus at 2400 Interstate Drive, just south of I-70.

The center will have classrooms, a large space showcasing new technology and a discovery lab. The discovery lab will include simulators, hands-on activities and other interactive learning.

The center will cover robotics, supply chain, manufacturing, HVAC and plumbing careers.
