Australia's national soccer team coach, Tony Popovic, has included promising midfielder Alex Robertson in his lineup for upcoming friendlies against World Cup hosts, the United States and Canada. The young, Wales-based player returns to the Socceroos following a two-year hiatus.

Robertson, whose father and grandfather also represented Australia, was last seen in the national colors against Argentina in 2023.
