LINCOLN, Neb. —
Nebraska's Britt Prince is looking to build on a stellar freshman campaign with the Huskers.
The Elkhorn North product averaged 13 points, four rebounds, and nearly four assists, earning All-Big Ten honorable mention accolades.
Prince is ready to take another big step in year two.
"When the lights get brighter, she gets better. But I think what the biggest growth we've really seen out of her is just knowing that I gotta keep it hooked up all the time," said coach Amy Williams.
"It's crazy that I'm already a sophomore," Prince said. "Time goes by fast, and you gotta take every moment just take it in. And making sure to get in the gym extra every day and do that work for my teammates."
Prince and the Huskers open the regular season on Nov. 8 against Samford.
