Augustana and USF Football coaches are excited for Saturday’s Key to City game

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -Saturday is the annual Key to the City rivalry game between Augie and USF.

This year’s game is 1 o’clock at Bob Young Field.

For the home team, the Cougars can’t afford another loss if they hope to make the post season.

Augie is off to a terrific unbeaten start, but sustained several key injuries last weekend.

All that aside, it’s bragging rights for next door neighbors for the next 12 months.

Jerry Olszewski, Augie FB Coach says, “At this point in the season, the degree of difference for what’s ahead of us and what’s behind us is pretty slim, and you can take the records and throw them out the window every year anyway so looking forward to it.”
