DALLAS — A judge denied a request from Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on Thursday, allowing the civil lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault to go to trial, court records show.

The case is now set for trial July 20, 2026. Previous trial dates in the case had been rescheduled multiple time s. Dallas County District Judge Aiesha Redmond initially reset the trial from March 18, 2024, to March 3, 2025. The trial was then delayed again to Monday, Aug. 11, court records show.

Since then, Jones and his legal team sought a motion for summary judgment in the case, which a judge denied Thursday, allowing the case to again proceed toward trial.
