The Township of Ignace and its Community Engagement Committee have partnered with Skills Ontario to host the Nuclear Youth Symposium next month in Ignace.
The three-day event, from Nov. 18-20, aims to engage, educate, guide and empower about 100 area high school students by featuring future job opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of nuclear science and technology as it relates directly to the future construction of the deep geological repository.
Opportunities associated with the construction and operation of the Centre of Expertise in Ignace will also be spotlighted.
