A moped and a car collided in Hartford on Thursday afternoon and one man has serious injuries, according to the fire department.

The crash happened in the 100 block of New Park Avenue around 4:18 p.m. and firefighters found one man suffering from serious injuries, according to fire officials.

They treated him at the scene and then the man was taken to the hospital.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Hartford police.
