BATON ROUGE, La. —
The Louisiana Department of Revenue’s Baton Rouge office will stop accepting cash payments starting Nov. 1.
The change aligns with a statewide effort to streamline payment processing. Regional offices in Alexandria, Lafayette, Monroe, New Orleans and Shreveport have already adopted the policy. Advertisement
After Nov. 1, payments will be accepted by check, credit card, debit card or money order.
