Sean “ Diddy ” Combs is set to be sentenced Friday (Oct. 3) after a New York City jury found the Bad Boy Records founder guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution while acquitting him on his most serious charges — racketeering and sex trafficking.

Ahead of his return to court, Combs’ team has released a nearly 12-minute video they intend to play for Judge Arun Subramanian in hopes of the mogul receiving a lighter sentence. The sentimental clip highlights Combs spending time with his children, speaking to young students at various schools, running in the 2003 New York City Marathon and visiting elders. It also highlights his grief over the death of ex-girlfriend Kim Porter, with whom he shared son Christian and daughters, twins Jessie and D’Lila.
