NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WBTV) - A school bus driver was charged with DUI after she was caught with 17 prescription pill bottles in South Carolina last week, according to an arrest document.
The document -- which was obtained by sister-station -- said 62-year-old Janice Waldorf was driving on in North Augusta, S.C. when authorities saw her swerving on Thursday, Sept. 25.
When Waldorf was pulled over in the bus, she allegedly told law enforcement that she was tired but that she had not been drinking. The document said Waldorf also told authorities she had some medical conditions but that she did not take medicine daily.
During the traffic stop, the document said Waldorf showed signs of impairment during field tests.
