GRAND FORKS – After failing to have a quorum during a Thursday special meeting, District 42 Republicans will have another chance to vote on new bylaws later this month.
Chairperson Kimberly Efta on Thursday outlined some of the possible procedural updates that could happen if the bylaws are approved, which include clarifying voting rights, officer duties and meeting notice requirements; adding rules for credentialing members at meetings; updating conflict-of-interest rules; and adopting clearer rules of order for meetings, among other possible updates.
“So these are things that we might want to consider at the next district meeting,” she said.
