MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA)—A woman was injured after driving in Miami when a piece of metal flew off a tow truck and went through the windshield of a car she was in, according to NBC affiliate WTVJ.

The car was traveling in Miami Gardens on Wednesday when a piece of metal flew off.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the metal struck the passenger's arm after the SUV hit the debris.

The video showed the car on the side of the highway with a cracked windshield with a hole in it.

FHP is investigating the incident.
