GRAND BLANC TWP, MI - Township Supervisor Scott Bennett announced the community will hold a vigil next week following the recent church mass killing that has shaken Genesee County.

As part of the community’s healing process, Bennett said the “Grand Blanc Better Together” community reflection is Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Grand Blanc High School’s Don Batchelor Field, 11920 S. Saginaw St.

“Thank you to everyone in our community who has come together in our time of tragedy,” Bennett said in a Facebook post. “The outpouring of compassion and support is one of the most defining qualities of our community.”
