A man has been charged after CCTV cameras were reportedly stolen from a football club.

The equipment was allegedly taken from Telford United Football Club last month.

Police believe the cameras were stolen between September 6 and September 17.

And they have now charged Wayne Titley with three counts of theft and three counts of [causing] damage to property.

The 50-year-old, of Crescent Road in Hadley, was remanded into custody following a hearing this morning (Friday, October 3).

He is set to appear at Telford Magistrates Court on Friday, October 10, with a trial scheduled for November 27 at the same court.
