BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) - The mayor of Bristol said the city’s water reservoir has declined to 70% capacity from the lack of rain.
As a result, the Bristol Water and Sewer Department asked that people limit their outside water use and follow the department’s policy on odd/even watering .
“I want to congratulate the Bristol Water and Sewer Department for managing our water source this year in the midst of a drought to get us to this point. Hopefully the levels will rise soon with fall rains,” said Mayor Jeffrey Caggiano.
Anyone with questions on the restrictions can contact the Bristol Water Department at 860-582-7431.
