EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State midfielder Regan Dalton has missed three full seasons of her college career due to injury, but the graduate student from Rockford is back for her final season with the Spartans this year.
Dalton’s bad luck began in her first collegiate game in February of 2021, suffering a torn ACL in her left knee. Dalton would be out nine months, missing her freshman season that spring and what would’ve been her sophomore year that same fall.
After healthy junior and senior years, Dalton decided to come back for a fifth year. Just 32 minutes into the first game of that season vs. Notre Dame, Dalton went down with another torn ACL, this time in her right knee.
