GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The Project Connect committee is calling on the community to step up as volunteers for Project Connect 2025.

The event is set to take place Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center, Fonner Park, 700 E Stolley Park Road in Grand Island.

Project Connect is a one-day event offering a wide range of free services, including medical and dental care, housing support, legal assistance, veteran services, haircuts, vision and foot care, health screenings, and more.

These services are available to adults experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, or those in need of essential same-day services.

Free transportation will be provided from the Salvation Army, Centennial Towers, and the Grand Island VA Medical Center.
