GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The sounds of music from 88 marching bands are set to fill the streets of Railside Saturday morning during the 83rd Harvest of Harmony Parade.
The theme for this year is ‘Sounds of the Island,’ which invites everyone to celebrate the sounds of the community and beyond.
The parade will begin at 4th and Elm streets at 8:15 a.m., and continue through the Eddy Street underpass, before continuing along the parade route down 3rd Street.
After the parade, the field competition is set to take place at Memorial Stadium at Grand Island Senior High School at 10 a.m.
Marketing and Communications Director for Harvest of Harmony, Jessica Salinas, said a lot of work goes into putting the parade together.
