SPOKANE, Wash. – A car that crashed into a building on the South Hill resulted in a gas line rupture and road closures, according to Spokane County Fire District 8.

The district said that the 57th and Regal intersection will be closed all ways due to the gas line rupture and asked travelers to stay clear of the area.

The road is estimated to reopen at 1 p.m.

Spokane County Fire District 8, Spokane Fire and Avista Utilities are on the scene.
