A bridge maintenance project between York and Lancaster counties will reduce traffic to one lane during daytime hours until mid-November.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that work is expected to begin next week on the Route 372 (Norman Wood) bridge over the SusquehannaRiver and Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks between York and Lancaster counties. Lane restrictions will be in place.
Weather permitting, the work will begin Monday, Oct. 6, and continue through mid-November. Traffic on the bridge will be reduced to a single lane during daylight hours with flaggers providing traffic control.
The work includes concrete overlay, deck patches and joint repairs, PennDOT said in a news release.
