Swift's 16th album, "The Life of a Showgirl," dropped at midnight Friday, and Greater Cincinnati's Swifties lined up to get the first physical copies of the record throughout the evening and early morning. Advertisement

At four different Target stores throughout the region, the chain allowed guests to stay late until 1 a.m. to buy copies of the physical record.

Most stores throughout the region typically close at either 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. However, for certain guests who acquired special tickets ahead of time, Swift's next era could be purchased immediately as the clock struck midnight.
