JASPER, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A Jasper man is facing multiple drug charges after he was arrested by authorities on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025.

The arrest came while Jasper Police Department narcotics agents executed a search warrant at a home in the 1700 block of 12th Ave. W.

Police said the raid at that home resulted in the discovery of five pounds of marijuana, around five ounces of crack cocaine, around ten grams of amphetamine, a handgun, and about $150,000 in cash.

Authorities arrested 51-year-old Albert Lamont Vinson of Jasper at the home. He has been charged with two counts of drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vinson’s bond was set at $150,000 by a judge.
