CHICAGO (WGN) — Chicagoland Jellycat lovers no longer have to rely on online hunts to score their favorite plush pals, they can now head straight to the Magnificent Mile.
London-based toy brand Jellycat, known for its quirky and cute stuffed animals, has partnered with Nordstrom to open a shop inside the retailer’s Michigan Avenue location. It’s only the second Jellycat concept of its kind in the U.S.
The space, dubbed “Road Trip to Joy,” is designed like a pit stop, complete with immersive displays, Chicago-inspired touches and plenty of smiling characters.
The star attraction? The Amusables Carrot Cake, a limited-edition Jellycat available only at the Chicago shop, located at 55 E. Grand Avenue.
