AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Community members with Indivisible CSRA in Augusta will join Americans are hundreds of events nationwide in a fight to lower healthcare costs.

On day 3 of the federal government’s shutdown , protestors in Augusta will raise awareness among patients and healthcare providers about impending healthcare insurance changes.

The ralliers will be on 15th Street and Pope Avenue during the event.

Parents and families gathered outside Harlem Middle School to protest following the death of 11-year-old Aiden Lee.

The events will happen from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
